Freedom lost again. Had a bad outing from many of my players. I haven’t had the time to really look over how bad it was. Been too busy. And because of this continuing busy-ness, I have opted to cheat with the ladder. Instead of taking the time to redo the code, I copied the spread sheet image from the stats guy in the league (Quad). He did this for the first time this week. I give him kudos since I love to use Excel myself. : )

Still not eliminated from the playoffs officially, but it’s very, very bleak. But after the 8 game losing streak, I didn’t expect to make the playoffs anyway.

Yesterday afternoon (which was rather hot and VERY muggy), Marcia and I went to see “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. As I am sure most know, this is the remake of the original movie “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” starring Gene Wilder. Both based on the book written by Roald Dahl.

From what I have been told, the new version, starring Johnny Depp (Willy Wonka) and Freddie Highmore (Charlie), follows the book more closely. It gets into Willy’s past and his relationship with his overbearing and dentist father (played by Christopher Lee). It also gets into the past of the factory, and why...
