According to this ARTICLE on ESPN and this ARTICLE on NHL.Com, a tentative agreement has been reached between the players’ union and the owners. Today is day 301 of the lock-out. Took them long enough.

The AL has now won 8 in a row.

[EDIT]: Actually the AL is undefeated in the last 9 All-Star Games, not winning 8 in a row. I forgot the 2002 tie-game debacle.

I think this is payback for the stretch of only winning three of 28 from 1960 to 1985. (And no, my math is not wrong, because for a few years in the 50′s and 60′s they played two All-Star Games.) As we know this means home field advantage for the American League champ in this year’s World Series.
