Been listening to King’s X a lot lately. Been pretty much it for the past two weeks. They came out of the Christian heavy metal / hard rock scene in Houston in the late 80′s. (Though none of the members are Houston natives.) Their songs are not heavy on Christian themes though. The band is Doug Pinnick (bass & vocals), Ty Tabor (guitar & vocals), and Jerry Gaskill (drums & vocals). All three can sing and they do harmonize from time to time.
They have 10 studio albums, I have 9 of them, but I have only really been listening to the following:
