My blog, now known as the Scooter Chronicles, turns one year old today! Yes, it all started on June 9th, 2004. You can go back and read that lame post if you want. I am not linking to it. : - P
A few stats (because I am a geek):
I have read 36 books during the past year. My favorites being, “Perdido Street Station” by China Miéville, “The Lions of Al-Rassan” by Guy Gavriel Kay, “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” by Mitch Albom, “A Song for Arbonne” by Guy Gavriel Kay, “The Liveship Traders” trilogy by Robin Hobb (“Ship of Magic”, “Mad Ship”, and “Ship of Destiny”), and “Jennifer Government” by Max Barry.
I currently have posted 65 times about hockey. And not ONE STINKING POST is about an REAL NHL GAME!! (Thank you Gary Bettman and Bob Goodenow!)
Anyway, thanks to those that read the Scooter Chronicles. And thank you to David for technical support.

wow!
Man - you have read WAY more then I have during the last year. Pretty cool to be able to go back and see that stuff.
I think the 66 posts (and counting) on the NHL is a great statement on the lameness that has become the NHL.
And just for the record - that first post -

I don’t think there is anything to add David. I was interested in a calendar to put important things to me coming up. But honestly that would only be used sparingly, or for the Tigers, Phillies, Red Wings, and Flyers schedules. And there is little point posting them other then to remember them. So I think everything is way cool for my needs. Thanks!

Always good reading especially the 65 NHL posts. Man you read alot and most of the fiction is in the articles you read on NHL.com.
