New Pro Hockey League …… Blah Blah Blah

According to this quick ARTICLE from TSN (The Sports Network in Canada) there are rumblings of a new league coming into existance if the NHL lock-out doesn’t end soon. This league would be known as the International Hockey Association, or IHA.

Yeah right!

Just like the new WHA, I don’t see this happening. Nobody can seem to orgainize anything when concerning hockey in North America. And the fact that they are looking for $5 billion to help get the league off the ground, what a joke. There is that offer from those two Boston firms to buyout the NHL for $4 billion. If anyone was really serious about any of these “plans”, it would have happened...
