Scooter Chronicles

Last night Marcia and I hosted Pizza Night. We were missing a few of the usual suspects, but it still was a pretty good night. The big highlight of the evening were Grammie’s new non-cast cast. Hard to explain, but what she is wearing on her wrist (which she broke) is not a cast, but some sort of lace up thing. It seems more comfortable, but her fingers are still swollen.

Other highlights included an appearce by our nephew Ryan (Mr. McSwiggles). And the new ultrasound pictures of Becca/Nigel. Hopefully I will have them scanned soone and post them.

Today I helped my sister-in-law Paula and her husband Rick move. There was enough stuff and a pretty good amount of people that I didn’t have to move any furniture....

Marcia went for her first “official” ultrasound yesterday afternoon. I went along as well. Accroding to what they saw and what the machince says, she is 9 weeks along, putting her due date at December 16th. It is somewhat appropriate for my family. I have an uncle and a cousin that both have birthdays just before Christmas. A great-grandmother was supposedly was born on Christmas. Then my sister Jenn missed being born on Christmas by a couple of hours.

Everything looked good to the tech, though the heartbeat was much, much higher then during the ultrasound last week. But everyone assured us that both rates were in the normal range.
