NHL Update
The owners and the players’ union continue to talk. And they continue to get nowhere. Is it just me, or are there other so-called “die hards” out there like myself that don’t really caring anymore?

I read an article in the papers this weekend (the Detroit News - Detroit Free Press combined Saturday edition) that said ESPN keeps lowering the price they are willing to pay to broadcast their games. Considering that they are really the only national US coverage the league has, the league is in serious trouble here. It is bad enough they are losing fans, but if those that are left can’t watch the sport, interest will wane more.
