My Raise
Forgot to mention that. It was good. I sure would have liked more, but my figuring is over the last three years where my raises have not been good. First year was 2.1%. Second year was 2.1%. Last year I did much better with 3.5%. But even as gas prices and housing costs sore, I was figuring that I would see less. What added to that thought was the fact that I got one of the highest percentages in the department last year.
So much to my surprise, I got 4.8% this year! (Company average was 3.0% this year.) Again, it was one of the highest in the department. Made me feel good. But there is still some catching up to do. Mind you I know my supervisor is looking out for me. He has been insisting...
