This afternoon I finished “Motor City Blue” by Loren D. Estleman. This is the second book of his that I have read, and also the second in his “Amos Walker Series”, about a P. I. in Detroit. You can read my REVIEW of the other book “Downriver” here on my site.

It started with sleeping in. As all great days usually begin, right? Though to me, sleeping is still getting up before 8:00. I usually get up at 5:00 to go to work. So I surfed the internet a bit, then settled down to read for a couple of hours. Marcia had planned a picnic with Catherine, David, and Lyric. We were going to a park just down the road from us. It has a huge wooden play “castle” and play area. It is really cool. So we headed over there about 1:00, ate lunch, then played around with Lyric in the castle.
