NHL “Sim-Season” Finishes

Back in November I had posted about a few hockey simulations that were being run. One was run by NHL.Com and called “Quest for the Best”, a super tournament of the top 32 teams in NHL history. There were a few upsets along the way, most coming from the 24th seeded 1992-93 Pittsburgh Penguins. But in the end, the tournament came down to the number 2 seeded 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens and the number 4 seeded 1983-84 Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers pulled out the victory, coming back from a 3 games to 2 defecit winning Game 6 and Game 7.
