Tonight Marcia and I watched “The Final Cut” starring Robin Williams. And while writing this, I can’t help but have the Pink Floyd song by the same name running through my head. Though it has no similarities to the movie.

It is a sci-fi like movie. People, if they choose and can afford, get an implant, usually buying them for their unborn children, that records their lives as seen through their eyes. After they die, cutters for the company that supply the implant, can make “rememories” of them to play at a memorial like service.

Baseball
Sometimes I forget just how much I like the game of baseball. When I was a kid growing up, we used to play just about every day during summer vacation. Eventually I got into Strat-O-Matic with the help of a friend from school. But over the years, partially because the Tigers were down for so long, and the strike that wiped out the 1994 World Series, and other BS before and after, my interest waned.
