I just love reading Mitch Albom’s articles. Today’s is another good one. He makes some very good points about what the players were willing to do to make this work, and how the owners seemed oblivious to it.

There is an excellent ARTICLE by Michael Farber on Sports Illustrated’s web site. It talks about the reasons that Bettman and Goodenow should step down from their positions. I wholely agree. Especially with Bettman. (I personally think they should string him up over center ice at Maple Leaf Gardens and let any and all fans come take a shot at him.)
There resignations probably won’t come. But Farber is not the only one calling for them. Speaking with my Dad a few days ago, he said he heard these same viewpoints from others.
