Open Letter to Gary Bettman
Dear Mr. NHL Commissioner,
CANCEL THE SEASON ALREADY!! Either that or just sign a deal. If you guys were “sticking to your guns” you would have canceled back in January when you really saw no hope of making a deal. Now you are turning this into a complete joke! You won’t give in to what the players want, yet you seem to hold out hope that something will get done by not canceling the season. Just give it up! And by the way, maybe you should think of a new line of work.

Moving Day - Coming Soon to a Condo Near You!
Marcia and I are figuring that our move will be March 5th. This is a bit sooner then I would like, but given the following week is my brother Todd’s wedding, there isn’t much we can do. Frankly, the way everything has played out, that has been the biggest obstacle so far. So we really can’t complain. We are probably going to get a head start on it though, and start bringing things over during the week prior. We will have to sign the lease before we move so our 30 day hold doesn’t run out. And since it’s just down the road from where I work, I can bring over a truck load everyday leading up to Saturday.
Sunday Night at the Hotel B
My mother-in-law invited me over for dinner last night. Other then Marcia, my sister-in-law Paula was there with Ryan, and Grammie as well. We had turkey and all the usual stuff that you might have on Thanksgiving. That is minus the stuffing. But it made for a nice evening.
Ryan though is really starting to express himself. He was jabbering away throughout the evening. And anything we put in front of him he seemed to want to investigate.
Hunting MacRae Wins Again
David’s brother Brian has won another home brew award, and again is was his Hunting MacRae Scottish Heavy Ale. You can read about it the competition on his web site. It took two awards this time around, and I believe that now gives the beer five total.
As I have said many times, it is one of the best beers that I have ever had. Now I may not have had as many as other beer snobs out there, but I have had quite a few. And I try just about any Belgian beer that I can get my hands on. This one seriously ranks up there with them.
