We had two more couples come and look at the house tonight. One I think was a repeat. The female looked familiar. And her husband/fiancee/boyfriend and her were comparing it to another unit in our development that was on the second floor. The feeling I got from listening to them that ours was more favorable being on the first floor. But I wasn’t holding my breath.
BUT ………… I got a call a few hours later from our realtor saying that an offer is on the way. We will be going over it tomorrow night with her. Hopefully it’s worth taking.

FINALLY!! Gary Bettman has been quoted as saying that if there is no deal by this weekend, then the season will be canceled. DUH!! I think they have known this since before Christmas that they wouldn’t get a deal done. Why keep going under the pretense that they would work something out. I think the commissioner and the owners that are really backing this are fooling themselves.
I don’t think they will have anything in place for the next season to start on time. And I see the owners filing for an impasse to get what they wanted after all. (Which in some respects I believe was their goal in the first place by not negotiating and sticking to the “salary cap or nothing” attitude.)
