The NHL has accepted an offer by the NHL Players’ Union to meet on December 9th and 10th to talk things over. It is reported that the NHLPA has a new offer it would like to bring forth, and they feel it will help the negotiation process.
I am probably just being cynical, but I am still not optomistic that this will save the season. It might get the ball rolling. Hopefully the NHLPA has come up with some dandy stuff.
So When Does Baseball Start Again?
I know they start spring training in February, but that is all I have to look forward to on the sports front. (OK, so indoor lacrosse starts in January, but it’s not like it’s on TV much!) This NHL lock-out is getting ridiculous! I think it’s been about two weeks since I posted anything about it, and guess what has happened over that period of time? NOTHING!! So much for the hope of them coming to an agreement.
