The Scooter Chronicles is officially open for business. Found out that it was indeed working, but my damn cookies were still showing the “Coming Soon” page. I just love the internet (can you sense the sarcasm?).
New logo will be up soon. Going with a black and white version of the one I showed earlier. Just hope it works the way I want.
The 14th ranked men’s player in the world, Nicolas Massu of Chile, won the Gold medal in a very exhausting match with the United States Mardy Fish. Massu beat the 35th ranked Fish 6-3, 3-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4. Two very interesting facts to take into consideration: Massu had played a 5 set match for the Gold medal in mens doubles less than 24 hours before. Also his doubles partner, Fernando Gonzalez, and him became the first Chilean Olympic athletes to win a Gold medal ……… EVER!!
Fernando Gonzalez, ranked 21st in the world, also brought home the bronze in mens singles. He defeated 28th ranked Taylor Dent of the US 6-4, 2-6, 16-14....
