So now that we talked about my birthday, you are probably wondering what I got as far as presents, right? Right. So here is the breakdown.

From my mother-in-law I got a really nice pair of tan/khaki Tommy Hilfiger shorts. I really needed a pair badly. Most of my shorts were getting too tight around the waist. And I needed a nice pair for more dress situations (since that is all I wear with these damn casts!). Funny thing is that I have lost weight since my surgery.

From our friends Ed and Shannon I got a gift certificate for Amazon.Com. I turned around and bought the book “Tuesdays with Morrie”...

It was my birthday last Monday (August 9th). I didn’t post anything because like normal, I spent it somewhere other than home (no internet access). Whether it was training camp for cross country in high school, traveling for work, or just being out of town on purpose, it is always kind of nice being somewhere else. This year of course I was in Viriginia Beach. Not a bad place to be for a birthday.

From time to time, with either my wife or other people, we have discussed who we share our birthday with. I thought it would be interesting to list the ones that I know of here.
