Vacation - Day One

Marcia and I are headed out on our vacation. It was originally scheduled to start this past Thursday. We were going to drive to Detroit and go to my cousin’s wedding on Saturday, then go to Pittsburgh for a night, then to Virginia Beach and Williamsburg. But since my injury happened, we ditched the idea of driving to Detroit. Too much driving for Marcia.

So today we are headed to Dover Downs in Dover, Delaware. It’s a casino and has two race tracks. One of the tracks is harness racing, the other is the famed “Monster Mile” that NASCAR runs at. The casino is slots only, but it is supposed to be a really nice place, and the hotel I have been told is wonderful. Tomorrow...
