Last night Marcia and I watched the critically acclaimed “Cold Mountain”. This stars Nicole Kidman, Jude Law, and the Oscar Award winning performance (Supporting Actress) by Renee Zellweger.

The basis of the movie takes a hard look at life for the town of Cold Mountain, North Carolina during the Civil War. Ada Monroe (Nicole Kidman) has just moved to the town with her father, Rev. Monroe (Donald Sutherland) from Charleston. She meets Inman (Jude Law) just before the War is pronounced, and he and other of the town’s men head off to fight for the South.
